Ingredients For Hamburger Soup With Pasta
- Ground beef - Provides a filling protein for the soup. You can also use ground turkey.
- Frozen mixed vegetables - I used a mix that contained green beans, peas, corn, and carrots.
- Diced tomatoes - Use the entire can, don't drain out the tomato sauce.
- Beef broth - Provides depth of flavor to the soup.
- Elbow macaroni noodles - You can also use another small pasta variety, such as small shells.

Crockpot Hamburger Macaroni Soup
Add the ground beef to a medium pan, and brown over medium-high heat on a stovetop. Drain grease.

Add cooked ground beef, frozen vegetables, and diced tomatoes to a slow cooker.

Next, add broth and salt and pepper.

Cook on high for 4 hours, or low for 7-8 hours. Add the noodles 30 minutes before serving to allow them to cook.

After 30 minutes, turn off the slow cooker, stir all the ingredients together and serve.

Tips For Making Hamburger Noodle Soup
Tip 1: You could make this soup recipe on the stovetop as well. Cooking time after adding everything together would be about 30 minutes on medium. You may also cook the noodles separately and add them right before serving so that they do not absorb any of the broth.
Tip 2: This is great served with freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top.

I really enjoyed this soup! I skipped the mixed veggies and just used frozen corn instead because I eat like a kindergartner, but it was still so good! I added a little cheddar cheese on top, too for extra flavor and creaminess.
