Why you'll love this Easter popcorn recipe

Peeps are the candy-like chicks and bunnies that are a seasonal favorite of many kids. This Easter Popcorn with Peeps recipe is an easy way to add some holiday color to your Easter table. The festive peeps add a sweet flavor to the salty popcorn. This kid-friendly recipe is easy to make and fun to eat.

How to make Easter popcorn treats

    Easter popcorn in bowl

Pop popcorn as directed. Place in a large bowl.

Next, cut peeps marshmallow bunnies into pieces. I find it fun to use a variety of color peeps, just to add more interest to the Easter popcorn.

The candy melts are available at most craft stores and grocery stores. They are easy to melt by placing them in a microwave safe bowl and microwaving for 30 second intervals and stirring in between. However, since each package or type of candy melt varies, I would follow the directions on the package.

Once melted, they should cool quickly, so you don't want to let them sit out too long.

Add in marshmallow peeps pieces and toss well.

Drizzle with melted pink candy melts. Toss and stir the popcorn while you pour the candy melts to get the pink chocolate evenly distributed.

You can even add some sprinkles to the pastel popcorn to make it extra festive!
