Crescent S'mores Bars
This recipe is not only delicious, it is also quite versatile. You can bake it up in a regular oven or a toaster oven, so you don't have to heat the whole house just to make dessert. This is the perfect thing to make when you want something sweet without spending hours in the kitchen.
These bars give you the warm, melty flavors of traditional s’mores without a campfire. You can serve them for family movie nights, a casual get-together, or to treat yourself. They’re easy enough for kids to help with, which is great for families who enjoy baking together.

Ingredients For Crescent S'mores Bars Recipe
- Crescent roll dough sheets or regular crescent rolls: These form the base and top layer of the bars. If using regular crescent rolls, pinching the perforations together ensures a smooth surface.
- Nutella or hazelnut spread: Provides that rich, chocolatey layer. Warming it slightly makes it easier to spread evenly.
- Marshmallows (large): These melt and create the gooey, signature s'mores experience when baked.
Kitchen Tools For S'Mores Bars
I made these crescent s'mores bars in an 8-inch square pan, which is the perfect size for cooking in a toaster oven. No need to heat the oven or kitchen when you can bake these in a toaster oven. A microwave-safe bowl for warming the Nutella is also helpful.

How To Make Crescent Rolls S'mores Bars
To start, preheat your oven to 375°F (or your toaster oven, if you’re using one). Spray the 8-inch pan with non-stick cooking spray and fit half of the crescent roll dough into the bottom of the pan.
The tube of crescent dough sheets comes with one large sheet, which you will need to cut in half for these crescent s'mores bars.

Warm some Nutella in the microwave until it’s spreadable, then spread it evenly over the dough. Layer halved marshmallows on top and cover with the second half of the dough.

Bake until the top is golden brown, which should take about 12–15 minutes. You may need to cover the top with foil if it starts to brown too soon.

Once baked, spread more Nutella and add additional marshmallows before giving it a final few minutes in the oven to toast.

You'll want to make sure this cools a bit before serving, but try to serve it warm if you can for a true s'mores experience. The melted marshmallows and chocolate make this dessert absolutely delicious. My daughter declared it the best thing I've ever made!

Tips for Making Crescent S'mores Bars
Tip 1: Warming the Nutella in 30-second increments can make spreading it significantly easier.
Tip 2: Be sure to keep an eye on the top layer while baking. If it begins to brown too quickly, cover it with foil to prevent burning.
Tip 3: Serve the bars while they’re still warm for that authentic s'mores experience. A slightly cooled but gooey texture is best!
