The kids helped me make this tasty Turkey and Cheese Crescent Roll Recipe. They are perfect for lunch or a snack. Best of all, they only have three ingredients and take 15 minutes from start to finish! If you love this Turkey and Cheese Crescent Roll Recipe, you will also flip for our Pizza Crescents.

My kids love having this for a quick lunch or snack. This turkey and cheese crescent roll recipe is cheesy, filling and super easy to make.

These crescents are a big hit with kids because they are super cheesy. All you need to make them are crescent rolls, sliced turkey and cheese. We used shredded cheese, but slices would work as well. When it comes to cheese, use what your kids like. My kids enjoy a cheddar/jack mix, but straight cheddar or provolone also works well in this crescent roll recipe.

    Turkey, Cheese and crescents

Preheat the oven or toaster oven to 375 degrees.  I like baking these in the toaster oven because I don't have to heat up the entire house.

Unroll crescent rolls from tube and separate into eight triangles. In each triangle, you will place one folded up slice of turkey and one tablespoon of cheese. Roll up like an ordinary crescent, careful that none of the filling spills out. I try to seal the edges a bit before baking so all the cheese doesn't ooze out when baking.

Bake for 12 minutes. You don't need to add any extra time because of the filling. When there is one minute of cook time left, you can add a little cheese to the top for some extra cheesy goodness. If the tops of the crescent rolls are getting too dark you can cover with foil for the remainder of the cooking time.

Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving since these can be very hot inside. This turkey and cheese crescent roll recipe can also be made with ham and cheese or roast beef and cheese. I just love the versatility of crescent rolls, don't you?
