Mornings can be chaotic, especially if you have the entire family at home – every day. With everything going on each morning, is it any wonder that moms often skip breakfast entirely or grab an unhealthy option? I get it mom. With limited time in the mornings, what choices do we have? To help take the stress out of busy mornings, try making breakfast ahead of time. These Easy Breakfast Ideas for Busy Moms will change your morning routine for the better and give you a great start to your day.

Easy Breakfasts for Busy Moms

EASY BREAKFAST IDEAS FOR BUSY MOMS

Breakfast Wraps

This super simple Greek Breakfast Wrap recipe can be made the night before reheated in the morning. You’ll love all the Greek flavors!

You can also Make Ahead Breakfast Wraps in Bulk. If you have enjoyed fast food breakfast burritos in the past, but don’t get out much these days, try these wraps that you can make ahead and freeze. You still get the convenience without the price tag or need to leave the house.

If your family enjoys Mexican food, they will absolutely love these Southwestern Breakfast Taquitos. Black beans, salsa and cheese make these taquitos a family favorite. They are filling and easy to pull from the freezer, warm up, and eat!

Breakfast Cookies

These breakfast cookies are something that you can pick up on your way to work (even if your work is just your home office). They are full of good for you fruits and veggies to keep your engine going all morning!

Breakfast Muffins

While muffins may not always been the healthiest option for breakfast, they are usually a family favorite. With this Peanut Butter Banana Muffins recipe, you can enjoy a muffin for breakfast with no guilt. Each one contains 10 grams of protein so it will provide delicious nutrition.

Oatmeal to the Rescue

It won’t just be the kids that get excited about this Peanut Butter & Jelly Overnight Oats. I love overnight oats because they are so easy! Put these oats on, go to bed and wake up to a filling and delicious breakfast-and with no added sugar!!

With these Freezer Oatmeal Cups for breakfast, you get the convenience of instant oatmeal without the extra chemicals and ingredients that can be found in the ready-made packets. You’ll love that this contains just real oatmeal, with your favorite spices and flavorings. Simply make it ahead of time and freeze. When you are ready to eat,  pull out of the freezer and pop in the microwave.

Make Ahead Casseroles

Cinnamon rolls are a treat for breakfast, but they usually don’t fill you up for long. This Easy Cinnamon Roll Breakfast Casserole adds some protein with the addition of eggs. Make it on the weekend and store it in individual servings. Then reheat and enjoy in the morning!

Besides being delicious, this Easy Make Ahead Breakfast Casserole  breakfast casserole has an added bonus – it contains a good amount of spinach, which helps you get some healthy veggies into the kids first thing in the morning!

Sandwiches and Pizza for Breakfast?

If you love the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Croissant Breakfast Sandwiches that you find at many fast food restaurants, try this better-for-you version that you can make at home.

Who doesn’t like pizza? Even my picky kids enjoy this Spinach & Bacon Make Ahead Breakfast Pizza. When you are looking to get some extra veggies in your kid’s diet and limit morning sugar consumption, try this breakfast pizza. It contains eggs, bacon, spinach and peppers, and is a great way to start the day.

What About Yogurt?

Yogurt parfaits like this one, provide a tasty start to the day. They are quick and easy to make. You can make them in many varieties, so you are sure to find something to keep even the pickiest eater happy.

Popsicles for breakfast? It may sound crazy but these are good for you! Think of the convenience as you and your family enjoy the great flavors of a yogurt parfait on a popsicle stick.

Pancakes and Waffles

These breakfast muffins have a bit of a twist to them – a mini waffle at the bottom. Genius, right? If your kids love waffles, give these a try!

These pancake poppers will be a favorite sweet breakfast option. They are moist and full of flavor and the cinnamon and applesauce in them eliminates the need for syrup.

Eggs in a Muffin Tin

If you have eggs and a muffin tin, you are halfway to an easy, make ahead breakfast.  These Sausage Egg Muffins combine bread, cheese, eggs and sausage.

Just pop them in the oven to bake and then Make them ahead of time and warm them in the morning for a filling and satisfying breakfast.

EAT AT HOME

I am a big fan of  Eat At Home Meal Plans. Are you stressed about deciding what to make for dinner each night? Sign up for the plans, and get access to 4 separate meal plans each month (Traditional, Whole Food Plant Based, Slow Cooker, and No Flour/No Sugar). Just print the plans, color-coded grocery lists, and recipes you want for the month. Don’t worry, there are so many options, even picky eaters will find something they like.

When it is time for dinner, make that night’s recipe (choices include make-ahead, freezer meals, slow-cooker recipes, and other time-saving strategies) and you are all set.

I know you have more important things to do than meal planning. Let someone else do it for you with Eat At Home Meal Plans. Monthly, quarterly and annual plans are available.
