Turkey And Cheese Crescent Rolls Ingredients
- Crescent rolls - You can find these in the refrigerated section of the grocery store. Any brand will do.
- Shredded cheddar cheese - Will be used inside the crescent roll and as a cheesy topping. Feel free to use any variety of shredded cheese you have on hand.
- Turkey - Sliced turkey deli meat like you would find in a deli or a container of lunch meat.

How to Make Turkey and Cheese Crescent Roll Recipe
1. Preheat, unroll, and seperate
Preheat the oven or toaster oven to 375 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Unroll the crescent roll dough from the tube and separate the crescent dough sheets into eight triangles.
2. Add turkey and cheese
On the wider end of each dough triangle, place one folded-up slice of turkey. Top with one tablespoon of shredded cheese.

3. Roll up
Roll up the stuffed crescent by the wider end, careful that none of the fillings spills out. Seal the seams so the cheese doesn't come out when baking.
4. Bake
Place a few inches apart on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12 minutes. When there is one minute of cook time left, you can remove the tray from the oven and add a little cheese to the top before returning to the oven.
Remove from the oven and cool for a few minutes before serving.

Tips For Making Turkey Crescent Rolls
Tip 1: I like baking these in the toaster oven because I don't have to heat the entire house.
Tip 2: If the tops of the crescent rolls are getting too dark, you can cover the tray with foil for the remainder of the cooking time.
Tip 3: A tiny bit of mustard or mayo inside before rolling adds an extra pop of flavor.
FAQs For Turkey and Cheese Crescent Roll Recipe
This turkey and cheese crescent roll recipe can also be made with ham and cheese or roast beef and cheese. I just love the versatility of crescent rolls, don't you?
Use what you like or have on hand when it comes to cheese. A cheddar/jack mix, mozzarella, provolone, or Swiss cheese also works well in this crescent roll recipe.
We used shredded cheese, but slices would work as well. Just cut them to fit and layer them inside the crescent dough - they’ll melt just as nicely and are a little less messy for kids to help with.
