    You may be wondering why this dish is called keto egg roll in a bowl. Simple. It combines all of your favorite flavors that are typically found inside an egg roll, minus the crispy shell. It is just served in a bowl, which makes it the perfect meal for a variety of diet plans. It is filling and super easy to make, cooking up in just minutes.

    This Egg Roll in a Bowl Keto version is one of my favorite low carb meals along with this Keto Crack Chicken in the Crock Pot. It is also perfect for the Weight Watchers plan. Whip up some Low Carb and Keto Cheddar Biscuits as a delicious side.

    What kind of ground turkey should I use?

    Ground turkey comes in different varieties of fat content. Feel free to use any variety unless you are following the Weight Watchers program. You can also use ground chicken in this recipe. I get my ground turkey from ButcherBox, which has the healthiest, highest quality meat at great prices. Best of all, it's delivered to your door.

    How many Weight Watchers points is Egg Roll in a Bowl?

    If you are following the Weight Watchers Freestyle program, 99% fat-free ground turkey is zero points which makes this recipe very low points. The entire recipe contains just 2 points (from the sesame oil). If you are not eating the entire thing in one sitting, I would count this as zero points.

    Instructions for how to make WW Egg Roll in a Bowl

    One of my favorite things about this keto-friendly recipe is that it can be made in one pan. I don't have a lot of time for clean up, so any meal that can be cooked in one skillet is a winner in my book. I love how simple it is to prepare as well, thanks to packaged cole slaw mix.

    Start by browning the ground turkey in a large skillet on medium high heat until it is cooked through.

    Add in the ground ginger and minced garlic and stir until combined. Peeling garlic is one my least favorite tasks. I use a garlic peeler like this one to make the job a lot easier.

    Drizzle 3 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 ½ teaspoons of sesame oil to the seasoned ground turkey and stir to combine.

    Add the cole slaw mix and stir to get the ingredients distributed with the shredded cabbage. Let cook over medium heat while stirring for 3 minutes. I have also made this using slaw mix without carrots or broccoli slaw and it tastes just as good.

    Serve immediately. Try serving with some cauliflower rice for a more filling meal. You can add some chopped green onions and sesame seeds if you'd like for a garnish.

      This is fantastic! I use ground pork and I double the spices as we like a LOT in ours. I also add green onions too. Yes, I realize this changes the recipe some but we also have to make a double batch to feed our family. This is one recipe we will definitely keep to make over and over!

        Yes I had to "doctor" it up a little. It tasted bland so I added a little more soy sauce, chopped onion, and Some ginger paste. That helped a bit. It is really good!
