That is all that recipe needs. I find it is the perfect ratio and I don't let the rest of the pudding go to waste. We enjoy it as a snack.

I made this for my husband to take to the hunting camp. It was a BIG hit! I did change it up a bit, using banana pudding mix and sliced bananas instead of strawberries. An easy-peasy substitute for traditional banana pudding. Thanks so much for the recipe.
Sharon
I made this as a last minute request for a dessert to share at a recent cookout. It was so simple and easy to make, and was such a big hit at the cookout! Will definitely make it again, but I am thinking about using banana pudding mix and using sliced bananas and strawberries.

FUN FAST SIMPLE AND ITS GOOD!
Becky
Can this be made the day before and not turn mushy?
Laurie
I made it using somewhat softened vanilla ice cream instead of the pudding. It was like a frozen ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins!
Laurie
Are we talking instant pudding, or cook an serve
Toni
Ooooooh just THINK of the different combinations you can create with different flavored Twinkies/ puddings/fruit topping! I think the berry flavored Twinkies with fresh raspberries/blackberries/blueberries would be a neat idea! Or how about the banana cream Twinkies with fresh banana.... would be a different take on traditional "banana pudding", ESPECIALLY if you'd use chocolate pudding!! *drooling* Use your imagination my lovelies!
Chystal
Can chocolate pudding be used instead of vanilla?
Monica
