STEP 1: Unwrap the candy canes or peppermint candy and place them in a small zip-top bag.
STEP 2: Use a kitchen mallet or rolling pin to crush the candy until it has broken into smaller pieces.
STEP 3: Melt the white chocolate according to package directions.
