Weight Watchers Pasta Salad
For this salad, I prefer penne pasta since it does a nice job holding the flavor of the dressing. Bow tie pasta would also work well in this weight watchers pasta salad as would whole wheat pasta.
After you cook the pasta according to package directions, you'll want to rinse it under cold water and set it aside.
Now it is time to prepare the vegetables and other ingredients.
In a large bowl, add pasta, red and green peppers, tomatoes, mozzarella, red onion, olives, and pepperoni. Add the dressing to a small bowl.
Toss to combine the ingredients, and then add the fat free Italian dressing. Toss to coat. Refrigerate this Weight Watchers Pasta Salad for 1 hour before serving. You can sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
This WW Italian salad looks even better when garnished with fresh basil.
Just because you are following the Weight Watchers plan, doesn't mean you have deprive yourself. You can have 1 cup of this hearty salad for 7 points and still enjoy the flavors you love. For more pasta salad ideas, check out the Best Ever Balsamic Pasta Salad Recipe.
